This Week…Econ major out of college can't find work. "No experience," they said. 40 times. So he decides, "Let me travel the country, seeking employment one week at a time in each state, as an experiment." ABC News reports that, of his first 12 gigs, 10 offered him a job full-time. All believed in giving him a chance. Enterprising young man.

U.S. Rep. Parker Griffith, a Democrat who was sworn into office on Tuesday, announced Thursday he'd been appointed to serve on the House Committee on Science and Technology.
Among its other duties, the science committee has jurisdiction over the country's space program and can commit funds to biotech research, both of which directly and indirectly employ thousands in the 5th Congressional District.
"This committee will play a big role as we determine the future of NASA," Griffith said in a statement released Thursday afternoon. "Marshall Space Flight Center has thousands of jobs at stake in the decisions that will be made by this committee as we work to build ARES 1 and ARES 5.
"This will also give me an opportunity to support our biotechnology industry and push for more science education at every level."

"Griffin said flying shuttles until a replacement is ready in 2015 would cost $15 billion over five years." … or what we give AIG each hour, right? RIGHT?

I kinda love this array. I have four of these as of 07 Jan 2009: EF 50mm f/1.4 USM, EF 85mm f/1.8 USM, EF 28mm f/2.8, and EF 135mm f/2.8 with Softfocus. You may buy me any of the rest, especially if there is a red ring on the lens.
I need to rent some for the next couple of shoots I do and see what I want to attain next.

No, I do not. Did you deserve it?
To be fair, it was fucking idiotic, and … as thoroughly uninspiring as Jack Kerry was, he couldn’t have done more to wreck this country than years 5-8 of GWB, right? Oh well, we’ll never know.
Aw, dude. That wasn’t personal. I mean, I was pissed at half of America, sure, but it wasn’t YOU I was talking to. Anyway. Pretty kitty!
Okay, cool … I feel like I owe you a beer for all you’ve done for the Internet, but if you feel bad, you can buy the second round.
Keep on rockin’.
