GNM: Jill Phillips’s The Good Things
Jill, when I saw her last:
I can’t afford to put you on the payroll, so free CDs will have to do until then!
And that’s totally cool, Jill.
You can get this album on Amazon.com [256kbps MP3s, for $8.99], or you can use ye olde NoiseTrade to get it for free. But unlike me and Ronzilla, you don’t get a free CD and a hug from Jill.
I remember reading about Jill’s debut CD eons ago when the earth’s crust was still cooling—okay, it was in college—and I find it very funny that I’m now fairly well acquainted with her.
She’s an honest artist, a caring person, and a heartfelt songwriter. I don’t know what to tell you other than that.

I’m fine with buying the CD next week, thankyouverymuch, and I’ll bet I still get the hug from Jill.
