Let’s get about detailing the new music that will kickstart the last year of my 20s.
My Brightest Diamond’s Bring Me the Workhorse.- 25 Aug 1989 [St. Louis, MO, USA] concert bootleg of Uncle Tupelo.
4 Sep 1998 [Rockford, IL, USA] concert bootleg of Wilco.- 5 Apr 2007 [Nashville, TN, USA] concert bootleg of The Decemberists.
2 Sep 2007 [Denver, CO, USA] concert bootleg of Wilco.
14 Sep 2007 [Grantham, PA, USA] concert bootleg of Feist.
14 Sep 2007 [Goodlettsville, TN, USA] concert bootleg of Andrew Osenga.
Spoon’s Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. On my first listen, I tweeted that I wasn’t really sure that I got this record. I think I’m starting to, though. Three-and-a-half stars.- 23 Nov 1998 [College Station, TX, USA] concert bootleg of Caedmon’s Call. Lance Orton did me a huge favor by pulling this one out of the archives. Vintage CC at its finest. Four stars.
- 18 Dec 2001 [Indianapolis, IN, USA] concert bootleg of Over the Rhine. It’s solid but unspectacular. Three stars.
12 Sep 2002 [San Diego, CA, USA] concert bootleg of Wilco. Man, I hate chatty crowds that clearly aren’t paying attention to the show. :sigh: Three stars.
27 Mar 2007 [Upper Darby, PA, USA] concert bootleg of The Decemberists. This sounds fan-frickin’-tastic. It is this bootleg that you want above all others. Four-and-a-half stars.
5 May 2007 [Madison, AL, USA] concert bootleg of Eric Peters. I really wish that I’d had a soundboard patch for this show, as I’d planned. It’s okay for an omnidirectional mic recording from the front row, though. Three-and-a-half stars.
5 May 2007 [Madison, AL, USA] concert bootleg of Randall Goodgame. Same comments as the show above, and the same three-and-a-half-star ranking.
14 Sep 2007 [Dallas, TX, USA] concert bootleg of Wilco. Meh. I guess I’m still just kinda meh on Sky Blue Sky. Three stars.
