Yes, they are. Possibly, although the port works fine when I swap with the other USB device on it. I don't think so on Bluetooth, but I need to re-verify. Are they both USB keyboards? If so, maybe the USB port is going south? Does the G4 iMac have Bluetooth? If so, you could try switching to a Bluetooth keyboard to see if that makes any difference.
