In addition to working off my backlog of bootlegs, this month is dedicated to filling my back catalog of Bruce Springsteen.
Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run. - 15 Sep 2006 [Austin, TX, USA] concert bootleg of Guster.
- 19 Feb 2006 [Iowa City, IA, USA] concert bootleg of Jeff Tweedy.
- 31 Mar 1997 [Amsterdam, Netherlands] concert bootleg of Wilco.
- 18 Oct 2006 [Morgantown, WV, USA] concert bootleg of Wilco.
- 16 Jul 2005 [London, England] concert bootleg of R.E.M.
Last week was all bootlegs, and I’ve run out of witty things to say about such things.
- 27 Apr 2006 [Selinsgrove, PA, USA] concert bootleg of Guster. Three stars overall, although my ratings wane as the show progressed.
- 28 Feb 1997 [St. Louis, MO, USA] concert bootleg of Wilco. This is one fine Wilco show, regardless of era. If you like early Wilco, you’ll love it. Three-and-a-half stars.
- 15 Oct 2006 [Wichita, KS, USA] concert bootleg of Wilco. It’s a good week for Wilco bootlegs for me, apparently. Three-and-a-half stars, and a rare appearance of “Radio Cure”.
- 18 Feb 2006 [Lincoln, NE, USA] concert bootleg of Jeff Tweedy. This was pretty average for a Tweedy live show from last spring. Three stars.
- 27 Feb 2007 [Seattle, WA, USA] concert bootleg of Snow Patrol. This proved to be one solid recording. There’s a couple great tapers in the Seattle area that record most every major act in the area, and this was done by one of them. Kudos. Three-and-a-half stars.
