As you’ll see, I’m really trying to work off my bootleg backlog. I’m being more intentional about it than in previous attempts, actually doing some—gasp!—planning ahead. Without any further ado:
- 11 Sep 1992 [Beloit, WI, USA] concert bootleg of Uncle Tupelo. [No tracker link because that tracker is dead. I'll re-seed upon request.]
- 17 Aug 1995 [Cincinnati, OH, USA] concert bootleg of Wilco. [Again, no tracker link.]
- 13 Jul 2006 [Fredericton, NB, CA] concert bootleg of Wilco.
- 2 Dec 1984 [London, England] concert bootleg of R.E.M.
- 27 Jan 2007 [Birmingham, AL, USA] concert bootleg of Jeff Tweedy. Hot off the presses, that.
- 9 Jan 1998 concert bootleg of Derek Webb.
- 17 Aug 1997 [Camden, NJ, USA] concert bootleg of Blues Traveler. [It should still be out on a tracker right now.]
- 6 Jul 1994 [Chicago, IL, USA] concert bootleg of Collective Soul. [Should still be on a tracker.]
Told you it was a lot!
M. Ward’s Duet for Guitars #2 finished out my month of M. Ward. I liked it pretty well; I give it three-and-a-half stars.
Derek Webb’s One Zero [acoustic] compilation. The whole purpose of this release [and its companion, the remix of the same tracklist] was to give new Derek listeners some idea of what Derek has been doing in his solo career. Why? Well, when you give away your last album, you get some new fans. Also, Derek had some distribution bridges that needed mending after giving away a product they were trying to sell. The result of this is very good, though; I give it four stars.
10 Oct 2006 [Nashville, TN, USA] concert bootleg of various members of the Square Peg Alliance. Specifically, Matthew Perryman Jones, Andy Gullahorn, Katy Bowser, and Eric Peters. I was happy with how this came out. I give it three-and-a-half stars.
6 Jan 2007 [Nashville, TN, USA] concert bootleg of Andrew Osenga. There’s some cross-talk in the room, to be sure, but it still sounds pretty good. I give it three-and-a-half stars.
25 Jan 2007 [Nashville, TN, USA] concert bootleg of Derek Webb. Two new songs? Sweeeeeet. It sounds okay for the setup I had. Three stars.- 8 May 1995 [Hampton Beach, NH, USA] concert bootleg of Blues Traveler. Here’s the DIME URL to grab this show (registration required). Sounds pretty good. I give it three stars.
- 19 Apr 1999 [London, England] concert bootleg of Fountains of Wayne. Here’s the DIME URL to grab this show (registration required). Not the best sound quality, either in the recording or in the PA. Sounds like the monitors weren’t too good in the room. Two-and-a-half stars.
- 31 Dec 2006 [Sayreville, NJ, USA] concert bootleg of Robert Rudolph & The Family Band. I’m an RRFB neophyte, other than what I saw on Austin City Limits, but I liked this pretty well. Three-and-a-half stars.
