Back in the saddle!

The last two weeks, I’ve savored some M. Ward:

  • End of AmnesiaM. Ward’s End of Amnesia is a good record, but I never really got into it as I have Matt’s other stuff. There’s a number of reasons that this could be true, but I think the biggest one is that I didn’t make myself sit down and listen to it straight through with the lyrics in front of me. I’ll need to do that in the future. I give it three stars.
  • 5 Jan 2007 [Sydney, Australia] concert bootleg of M. Ward. It’s a good-but-not-great recording; I expect that most of that has to do with the equipment. [I'm not complaining; I have good-but-not-great equipment, too.] I give this three stars.
