So sorry to learn of you loss, brother. My mother-in-law was just must from ICU after suffering a stroke, so we have spent a lot of time in hospitals lately. We are with you in prayer.

Oh Geof. I’m so sorry to hear about Cindy. I can’t say that I know how you feel, because I don’t. I can say, though, that my heart goes out to you and Doug and that if you need anything, even just a person to talk to, I’m here all the time. And, as always, I love you as one of my best friends that I’ve ever had.

It’s not what you meant, but it’s worth saying:

You are loved, both by Jeff and me, and I am glad you are in my life. I know that you’ve lived your life around others the same way you’ve lived it around me — and I feel pretty certain you’re going to hear similar things from a lot of people today.

*hug* I am so sorry. Words just don’t suffice when there’s an empty space in the heart.

Go home. Go comfort your brother and your family. When you’re ready, come back. We’ll be here.
