I Give Up!...

Really. You know that Treo that I RMA’d last week and got a new one? The new one is now on the blink.
My forehead is growing very flat.

I think I went through the same thing when my Mac got shipped back, except FedEx won't let us pick things up at the counter here. Bastards.

And shockingly overnight meant overnight for that too -- usually overnight to Hawaii means two days. My boss actually had a package sit at FedEx overnight because it arrived in Hilo within two days, and even though he paid for two-day service, FedEx two-day to Hawaii means three days, and by gum they couldn't actually deliver it in two days.

If it weren't bad business, I'd relate the stories of DHL fun I've had at work. I won't, though, because I like remaining employed.

Even better, my phone is now re-synced with my Mac, and my portable brain now works again. I feel whole.

I'm shocked a DHL truck could ever run late. When they come around the corner in our office parking lot, they've got to be going 35 mph or more.

And I had a similar experience with FedEx. I laughed reading your timeline because it was almost exactly like my experience tracking down an iPod at a FedEx location way out in the middle of nowhere.

Sounds like par for the course - I have never met an "ept" counter jockey...

Glad to hear you're back in touch with the world!
