Geof’s New Music: 10-16 Sep 2006

Gosh, this week has kicked my ass. On with it.

Yep, that’s it. Last week was Square-Pegriffic as well:

Unfortunately for me, my bootleg stash is piling up. [Let's just not talk about it, folks.] I already know what I’ll listen to next week, and it mainly involves the recordings I did on Tuesday at Sandra’s show and Hem’s new album, Funnel Cloud. Speaking of Tuesday, man … I have to thank the sound board op [whose name I will learn, I know, because the Pegs play Mercy Lounge a fair amount] who put up with me being really needy—Can I get a board patch? Can you get me some power? Oh, I’m a moron and can’t set up my equipment. How about a pony?—and was generally just awesome. I was essentially one huge board feeding newb, and he very graciously put up with me.

Of course, I better get to work on that bootleg before the hordes beat down my door … ;)

Man, did I ever let this slip. Well, here’s what I have listened to this week:

    Hem’s Funnel Cloud.
16-Jun-2000 [Vienna, VA, USA] concert bootleg of Andrew Peterson.
31-Jan-2003 [Los Angeles, CA, USA] concert bootleg of Elliott Smith.
