Obsessed With The Cardigans

Long Gone Before Daylight I swear … I cannot get enough of The Cardigans’ Long Gone Before Daylight lately. It has wiped out Tom Brosseau’s What I Mean to Say Is Goodbye and Elliott Smith’s Either/Or as my go-to albums for driving around in the car, and I have to fire it up at least once a day in iTunes, too.

Must … have … more … Nina … Persson.

    I share the obsession.

I just listened to the (admittedly lo-fi and crappy) samples on Amazon, and I was kinda disappointed. I preferred the harder sound they had on Gran Turismo. Especially on tracks like Erase/Rewind, Starter, and My Favorite Game. I would definitely buy another album full of tracks like those.

Yeah, Dougal, I would not expect you to be terribly thrilled with the sonic change they made. :)

[I would, however, expect you to like the new Underoath album that a lot of my friends are ga-ga over.]
