Geof’s New Music: 2-8 Jul 2006
On with the new music:
- 20 Jun 2006 [Nashville, TN, USA] concert bootleg of Andrew Osenga. Done by my own hand, even.
No, I still haven’t gotten the BitTorrent tracker set up. I’m going to see if I can finish that after I post this; I’ll link appropriately.Linkage now goes to the right place. - 24 Feb 2006 [Lancashire, UK] concert bootleg of Pierce Pettis.
- Sufjan Stevens’s A Sun Came
- Sufjan Stevens’s Enjoy Your Rabbit
Last week was the best week for adds in all of June:
- Katy Bowser’s All of My Friends. Three-and-a-half stars. I love Katy’s new sound.
- 13 Dec 2003 [San Francisco, CA, USA] concert bootleg of The Counting Crows. Three stars: it’s the encore that makes it happen.
- 18 Mar 1991 [Charlottesville, VA, USA] concert bootleg of Uncle Tupelo. Three-and-a-half stars: definitely the best UT show I’ve processed in a while.
- 10 Dec 2005 [Columbus, OH, USA] concert bootleg of Over the Rhine. Three-and-a-half (almost four) stars. Great sound, great vibe.
- 28 May 2003 [Los Angeles, CA, USA] concert bootleg of Elliott Smith. Three stars: a short but rockin’ set.
