I finished all the backups about 0130 this morning. Predictably, I was awake at 0630; unfortunately, I wasn’t able to use all the evidence I had of the drive failing to short-circuit the NOC’s escalation procedures. This place goes dark at 1300; I hope that the server will be back online tonight, but I wouldn’t start getting nervous before, oh, 1300 tomorrow.
