Well, this is Alabama, where we elected the governor’s wife so he could be governor again.

I think Riley and Baxley are both pretty decent … for Alabama politicians. I support most of what Riley’s tried to do, and Baxley hasn’t really hacked me off with anything that she’s done.

I’m fearful of the fact that, theoretically, we could have a governor’s race that features Jim Folsom, Jr. (R) vs. George Wallace, Jr. (D)

I don’t see one viable candidate for the state’s top office this year. I’m sad.
