This week’s mix is a half from the BMG order I got last week, half from some bootlegs:

- 89/93: An Anthology of Uncle Tupelo’s oeuvre.
- 9 Jul 2005 [Paris, FR] concert bootleg of U2.
- 15 May 1997 [London, UK] concert bootleg of the Counting Crows.
Last week was all about filling out my Fountains of Wayne discography:
- Fountains of Wayne gets four stars from me.
- Utopia Parkway gets four stars as well.
- Out-of-State Plates gets four-and-a-half stars from me. Some really good stuff here: “Radiation Vibe”, which made me realize how FoW is tied in with Hem’s Gary Maurer, a cover of “… Baby One More Time” that I can listen to without invoking Britney Spears in my head, and some really good live cuts. Good stuff.
Next week’s won’t hit before Tuesday, either, because I’m on the road from Thursday through Monday [and maybe longer if things go South and I have to return from vacation to go straight into a business trip...].
