Daddy, It’s Saturday …

It’s bad that I already recognize that I’m coming into the office on Saturday. Why? I’ve got this data-entry-intensive task on my books, and I’ve just not been able to touch it the last two days for all my other interruptions. :sigh:

I’m just going to come in on Saturday when no one can throw another proposal on my desk for me to do. No phone calls, no people dropping anchor inside my door to ask me a question, no emails I have to respond to right away. Just me, Excel, Project, and iTunes.

[Before any of the "clear all the interruptions from your life" crowd get on my case, I work in a project office ... I am expected to be an inforouter in my organization. This is my job description, thanks. It's great for someone with ADD like me. ;) ]

    Hey,

Don’t forget about the Alumni Hockey game that is on Saturday along with the big celebration. You can’t not go. Have enough fun for me though. I will be on bed rest beginning tomorrow. But the great news is that we go in the hospital on Sunday evening to be induced. Jake will more than likely make his first appearance at a hockey game the last home stand of the year. YEAH!!!

    Have fun at work.

  2. For those wondering, I deleted Morgan’s comments, because they were off-topic. I’ll address them in another entry here soon, because I did open my fat mouth.

I don’t think I’ll make the alumni game, but that’s usually a bore, anyway. I’ll make both games, to be sure.
