Rescue Me Season 3 DVD Release Date…

No release date for the season 3 DVD for Rescue Me has been announced. As soon as it is, I’ll update this entry.
Because all questions coming in to my old Season Three entry relate to this topic, I’m closing comments there.

All I can say is CRUD – having just had a marathon of the first 2 seasons this week (hubby go them for christmas) I am way way hooked – need season 3 before season 4 starts!!!!

No one knows but the writers, and we won’t know until next season, I imagine. I will delete any speculation here as folks in other countries know nothing about the finale [and it should stay that way].

Hi, Geof,

As I stated in an earlier message above, I had not seen any of the first two seasons of Rescue Me and only caught the last three episodes of Season 3. I became a dedicated fan instantly!

Just wanted to say to others who, like me, didn’t discover Rescue Me until late into season 3 that while channel surfing tonight, I couldn’t believe my good fortune to find that the FX Network had begun airing reruns of the first three episodes of season 3 tonight, beginning at 11:00pm.

Three more episodes are slotted for consecutive viewing next Saturday night (10/14) beginning at 11:00pm and the next 3 episodes will be shown the following Sunday morning
(10/22), beginning at 12:00am. They are resuming the regular schedule of airing a single episode at 10:00pm and 11:00pm on Tuesday night followed by an encore showing on Friday and Sunday beginning Tuesday (10/24).

I just wanted to say I absolutely LOVE Rescue Me. One night I just happened to start watching and now I am hooked. I bought both seasons 1 and 2 and had a hard time turning them off…I am so impatient for the next season! I wish they would put season 3 on DVD now to hold me over

Chris: I believe that FX chooses to run it in summer for one of two reasons: the shooting schedule best meets all the actors’ schedules, or FX likes having it in the summertime to run it in one fell sweep, with re-runs at odd times during the week, to garner airtime and advertising dollars at an otherwise slack time of the year.

So was the last show I saw the finale. (Denis is in the house and she catches it on fire and it blows)

I just rented the DVD Series I Vol 1 2 and 3 from the library. That should keep me busy and I will catch to all I missed by June 2007 …….I hate waiting…I am so impatient.

I can’t believe this is a summer show. Why didn’ they schedule in the Fall like everything else and then do reruns.

I started watching Rescue in Season Three but not sure where I actually jumped in. It thought they were reruns. The last show I saw was where he was in the house and it blew up. was tht the finale for the season. I have seen nothing after that and then Nip/Tuck started in the same time slot. I think I will need to go get Season 1 and 3 to catch up to what I missed. When will Season 4 start. (I was assumming in the Fall. Was this like a summer show?) I love Denis Leary and I love Rescue Me.
