Crappy Weather

As most everyone in the middle part of the US has seen today, we’ve got nasty weather on the way here. As I type, there are tornado warnings all the way through Middle Tennessee. Pretty scary stuff.

Tuesday night is our usual gathering of geeks, which is taking a hit tonight because of the weather and just apathy, I think. I’m heading out to the Granades’ because I’m not totally comfortable with Misty being home alone with Eli while the weather is nasty. [I don't know what I'd do ... hold on to them and use my weight as ballast to keep them from flying away?] But I thought that, if nothing else, I’d let folks know I’m further up north in the county than I normally am, in case Madison County gets a reprise of the 1989 Airport Road Tornado, which celebrated Sweet Sixteen today.

If you’re wondering, yes … I totally posted this entry for my parents’ sake. We have this history of tornadoes in this family …

Well at least we got some laughs out of the evening from old “Who’s Line” reruns. And we kept Rachel from wigging so I consider the evening a success!
