TiVo OS 7.2!
I wandered downstairs this morning for a few things, one of which was a necessary cleanout of stuff I’d pulled off the downstairs TiVo. I was happy to find that it is now running TiVo OS 7.2. I just forced a call home with the one here in the loft, but … no dice. I figure it’ll be running 7.2 soon enough.

My Tivo has this ailment where, despite being on my network with an Internet connection, it is only successful at getting updates via the modem. I’ve fought with it a couple of times unsuccessfully, but it’s not that big of a deal to me. (It’s still happy to be on my network, so I can use the music/photos features. It just phones home over the modem for updates.)
