Ships Passing in the Night

Brad just emailed me, wondering when Amy would be getting into SFO. Why? Brad’s been at OSCON, and he’s on his way back to Hawai’i … via SFO, where he is right now.

I’m hoping that Brad can catch Amy before his flight leaves. They’re going to be pretty close to each other on time.

Even from thousands of miles away, I’m putting friends together. I love being an enabler!

they’ll only get together if he has time for Dim-Sum. That was Amy’s first stop off the airplane.

  2. Well, Brad’s flight leaves 20 minutes after the flight Amy’s probably on arrives. IF they get to see each other, it’ll be “Hi … bye” and a hug.

But when Brad lives in frickin’ Hawai’i, well, I bet Amy will take that. :)

Alas, Amy’s flight landed at sometime around 10:30am, which is when my flight left Portland. I caught them on Jeff’s cell phone though — thanks Geof for giving me his number.

When I told Amy that I had visions of standing at the gate as she deplaned, she said something about “public crapping of pants”. :D

  4. Awwww, shucks.

Y’know, it scares me that this entry is one entry away from being on PAGE THREE. It feels like I wrote this entry days ago, and it was just … ten hours ago, exactly. Crap.
