With a little digging—it’s nice when your community has its own Web site—I did find out that trash pickup is Monday and Thursday. My pile literally just went in the truck. Dunno why I’ve seen irregularities in that, though. At least my system isn’t as Byzantine as Grant’s.
Now, if I could only figure out why I’ve yet to get a water bill, I’d be golden.
I know back when Cindy came through (think it was that one), that the county cancelled a Monday pick up. Maybe Madison did the same? Also when we moved, the previous owners warned us that it can come as early as 6 am. I’ve yet to see our pick up come that early, but we were warned. Yet again, that’s the county, but maybe Madison is similar.
Wow, my trash is collected on Tuesday morning around 8ish for recycling and 10-11am ish for regular trash. If tuesday was a holiday then the trash is collected on Wednesday.
That’s it, period, simple.
