Yawnerola
So yeah, I came home from work and totally crashed. Don’t really know why. I woke up at 1900 or so, looked at the clock, and was really, really confused. I had to stop and think: “Came home at 1600. Crashed. Woke up now. It’s okay. It’s not Sunday or anything.” Aiiiiieeeeee.
[The last couple of days have been pretty intense at the office, up to the level of what I was used to maybe 18-24 months ago in terms of constantly changing requirements, emails and phone calls all over the place, etc. The adrenaline high was awesome, but the comedown sucked. If we can keep this kind of thing up---I'm hopeful!---things will be sweet. I like the craziness.]
Anyhow, I’m headed into the office in the morning—erm, okay, in about seven or eight hours. I want to get in there and get some stuff done before the evening time, when the effects of Tropical Storm Arlene should be rolling into our area. Note to self: pick up that UPS you’ve been eyeing for the office. [We have brownouts and brief blackouts at the office, and since I like to have my work machine up most of the time...] I have a couple emails to send that I wanted to send with a fresh brain, so I figured I’d come in on Saturday and do just that.
