For the record …
… I would be writing here if the very concept of buying a house in ten days weren’t blowing my mind.
Suffice it to say that my mind is blown.

We were getting married in October and had been looking for a house for months when, in September, we found one and closed on it. Add the stress of buying a house to the stress of a pending wedding.
April 20th, 2005 at 07:39Luckily I’m not one to get stressed, so buying the house didn’t bother me (even as last-moment as it was), but the wedding got to me about a week prior to the actual day. What an experience for someone not used to being stressed out!
Oh, we did ours long distance in one weekend. I’d say no sweat but there was a lot of sweating as we did it in the middle of the summer. Also, dragging a chinchilla around in the summer time, NOT FUN, in case you were wondering. But hey, we have a great house so no big complaints.
April 20th, 2005 at 09:43Our first house was sold by us (no realtor) in four days. That was the Knoxville house — your first house. Mom took you, flew to San Antonio, and bought a house in two days.
None of the other realestate deals have gone nearly as well as that. We were spoiled.
