WordPress Character Handling Plugin

While we’re waiting for WP 1.5.1—which is in the offing, and yes, the thought of upgrades make me a little sick  :sigh:—I suggest that WP users install Entity2NCR, which will fix lots of issues with trackbacks, pingbacks, etc.

At least the plugin API is mature enough to make these fixes pretty easy!

Even if your pings/trackbacks are working? Should you still install it?

I would, because all the thing is doing is changing character entities to their numerical equivalents. It can’t hurt anything.

I was hoping this would fix my problem.

But I think maybe it’s an IE problem more than anything. I suppose I should switch browsers at work.

Is this only necessary for WP 1.5? If I am still using 1.2.2, do I need this plugin? If I don’t need it, Roger can wait for 1.5.1 before I upgrade his install…

    Yeah, it’s a 1.5 fixer-upper.
