Delmarva Peninsula

During an idle moment at work, I decided to look up where my friend Joe lives in Delaware. Then, I remembered something I’d always wondered: why is it the Delmarva Peninsula? I totally see Maryland and Delaware’s presence on the peninsula, but goshdoggit, it’s not contiguous to Virginia at all!

Oh well. It’s not as foofy as Da UP, eh, John?

  2. Yeah, there are.
