		<description>That&#039;s true; RSS has made it largely useless.  I haven&#039;t figured out why WP1.5&#039;s Plugin API doesn&#039;t work like it used to, either.  :sigh:

I&#039;ve been contemplating how to re-do something WG like, and I think the answer is in making it poll syndication feeds and aggregate them, using something like Mark Pilgrim&#039;s Universal Feed Parser [as it&#039;s liberal and will handle errors well] or, at worst, Magpie [which is a strict parser :(].</description>
