What Allen’s Getting Things Done does is provide you a rationale for creating a system where you collect your thoughts and process them in a rational manner. Unlike a lot of books in this genre, Allen offers advice, not ultimatums that must be met. If you stick to the core principles he’s outlaying, you’ll come up with a system that you’ll want to use, not a system designed for someone else.
