On, Not In
With my pen poised above the palm of my left hand, I said to a co-worker, “Such are the perils of leaving my Treo in my office … I’m writing on my palm instead of in my Palm. If I walked back down to my office to get it, I would undoubtedly forget everything I need to write down right now.”

So ahh, is it just me or did I not comment on this post? I thought I did and then it dissappeared. Maybe I’m dumb?
November 18th, 2004 at 11:56It didn’t read like you, so it got deleted in a fit of paranoia on my part. Besides, you called me dumb.
November 18th, 2004 at 14:46Ahhhhsoooo! Yeah, I called you dumb because you can’t remember something long enough to walk to your office and get your palm! hmmmmmph! Deleting my comments! I see how it is!
November 18th, 2004 at 15:10It ain’t a matter of stupidity. It’s a matter of having a lot of things on my mind right now.
November 18th, 2004 at 15:54I’m just messing with you man! There is nothing about you that I actually consider dumb!
November 19th, 2004 at 09:04Geof,
There is this thing out there called paper. I’m sure in a meeting that plenty of people had ample supplies of this paper.
November 19th, 2004 at 09:40See, Rick just basically called you dumb! It’s not just me!
Just Kidding!
Sarah writes on her hand all the time to keep from forgetting stuff and I’m marrying her.
November 19th, 2004 at 09:45Rick: You would be wrong. There is no scratch paper in my boss’s office. If there were any, you wouldn’t be able to find it anyway.
November 19th, 2004 at 10:20Stupid junior.
November 19th, 2004 at 10:20You know what would be cool? If you could bundle together a hundred or so of these things called “paper” together to form a “book”, then make it small enough to put in your pocket so you could carry it around with you.
Then someone should make a digital version of this “notebook” because it would have more memory and you could do other things with it, like put a calculator in it or possibly have a game or two. Maybe even some kind of wireless network capability.
I’m sure nobody has thought of this “digital notebook” before, so I’m going to patent it and make million, millions I say!
