Typeface

I’ve changed the typeface of this site.

I got tired of reading large Georgia font. Feh. I like Georgia for headlines, though, so it’s still around. I blame that on how the numbers look; I read Reader’s Digest a lot as a kid when visiting either set of grandparents, and that’s close to the typeface they used in the 1980s and 1990s.

Text here always comes up white on Safari, making it impossible to read. Any ideas?

Well, maybe not exactly white, but it looks like the same shade as links in your sidebar. Links in text come out red.

I have some ideas … I should test. Stephen?

Actually, it’s time to play with the DOM inspector and be a bit more explicit with my styling, I think.

  4. Dad:

The size of the comments is a little small for these old weak eyes. Everything else is fine.

  5. Sean:

I like the new font, but i agree in the fact that the size of the font for comments is a bit small.

  6. Geof F. Morris:

Yeah, it’s too small even for me … I’m trying to figure out what’s driving it, but I haven’t figured it yet.
