Friggin’ Typos!

Dammit, it’s bad when you realize that you’ve made a typo. I had 67.17.147.158 for the new [rocksmyfaceoff.net] IP; it’s 67.19.147.158.

Moron.

My hosting provider didn’t catch it, either, but the bad-ass thing is that I again have the ability to edit zones inside their support portal—which is up regardless of whether my server is online or not. That is, dare I say it, wiggin’ metal sweet.

Now I just have to get the data moved over, in place, and restored. All attempts to do so with CPanel/WHM’s native transport utilities have horked, so I’m going to try it by hand …

… after dinner, and probably after Big Brother 5, too.

The DNS propogation will be taking place anyway.
