Smarter Hotlinking Protection

A List Apart presents Smarter Hotlinking Protection: allowing direct-linkers—creating a link to an image, rather than displaying it on your page—but killing hotlinkers. It uses PHP and mod_rewrite, so you’ll need that to get started.

I have uses for this.
