I Am An Idiot

Until today, I have never owned a single Johnny Cash album.

I need to be soundly beaten.

I blame Josh and Joe for my Cash purchase … thanks, guys.

    now that you’re hooked, you should check out his autobiography (cash by johnny cash). it’s a great, GREAT read.

    I’ve listened to Cash, certainly, but like so many other artists, I’ve just never picked anything up. :sigh:

    As for picking up a book … my backlog is already damningly long. :sigh:

    Dylan and Cash are in the same boat for me…I think they’re brilliant and spiritually profound….but I just can’t listen to either of them sing for more than five minutes.

    the man comes around is brilliant… i’ve listened to that cd a billion times since i got it. now, work your way backwards through the american recordings and pick up the essential johnny cash (to get you into the older stuff). also, as i’ve said a million times… the unearthed boxed set is pure genius… i highly recommend it.
