I Told You So

I have wondered when someone would start spoofing Weblog comments, and now it’s happened to Jay Allen.

I feel vindicated in some small, sick way.

Some argue that PGP/GPG signed comments are the way to go. Any user authentication scheme is fine by me, but frankly, I think a localized [that is, not a centralized] user registration system is the way to go.

    Looks like Twelve Two Two Fondue has run into one of my big fears: fake comments from regular visitors. That sucks. Again … told ya so.
