Moderate the URL, not the Comment
Paul Freeman suggests moderating the URL, not the comment.
I think that he has a point; in a situation where you have something like my suggested comment_reg system—which again, before you get your panties in a wad, is about so much more than simply stopping comment spam—you could bypass URL moderation for some class of users.
