Wow Dude! That’s a pretty big change! Good Luck! I’m sure you’ve thought it out and it’s the best thing for you so……Congratulations!
April 1st, 2004 at 10:28Congrats … now can you get those morons to fix the under-seat space on the asile seats in the 737! It’s too small for my computer bag!
April 1st, 2004 at 10:30Congrats! Job changes are always fun and exciting. Any relocation plans or do you stay put?
April 1st, 2004 at 11:25so many big changes in one day, geof!
April 1st, 2004 at 12:26Really guys … me? BOEING?!
I have come to a whole new understanding about my job … and understand, when I complain about work, it’s about stupid decisions that people make that affect the way we do things. We do a very good job on our projects of controlling what we can control.
I give Alex a free pass because he doesn’t know me as well as everyone else. The concept of me going to Boeing is almost as perverse as Linus Torvalds moving to Redmond, WA.
April 1st, 2004 at 14:30I was kind of thinking it was strange that you were leaving TBE to go to Boeing as much as you complained about them. But like I said, had you made the decision I know it wouldn’t have been without heavy consideration.
I think I speak for all those fooled by this post in saying that I officially hate you!
April 1st, 2004 at 15:52Kat swore at me. A lot.
April 1st, 2004 at 15:59How long did you have this up before adding the “NOT!”?
April 1st, 2004 at 19:19About four hours.
April 2nd, 2004 at 06:58Jess told me last night and I was thinking… ‘He’s been really tight-lipped about this. He was just telling our wives how they needed to get jobs at TBE and then transfer to his group.’
She looked again after we got home and realized it was a joke. Very good one man!

That’s the other thing that I found so funny … I can see Todd [whom I just don't see enough of anymore
], Brian, and Alex biting on this, but … y’all know me well enough to know that I’d talk about stuff like this before I did it.
I don’t think it’s possible for me to not muse aloud about such things.
