Without Ceasing

Ow, I hurt. I hurt all over.

The trip was absolutely wonderful. It is a wonder to see the transformative power of the Gospel being preached.

I did get to make a point to our kids yesterday morning, and that was pretty simple: “You know, the reason that you all feel changed today is because you heard the Gospel preached to you this weekend. The key to the whole Christian life is this: you gotta preach it and hear it every day. There’s not a day when we don’t need it. I didn’t figure that out for the longest time; if you can figure it out earlier, then God bless you.”

I really do think that the biggest problem in our churches today is that we’re not preaching the Gospel enough. More on that later.
