Sotto Voce

Well, I awoke this morning in Rome, Georgia, after having seen Caedmon’s Call in concert and hanging out with the boys after the show to having a wonderful head cold. I was supposed to be on my way to Aimee’s Christmas party tonight, but there’s no way I’d feel up to it, much less able to make small [or any other kind of] talk.

I called Katharine and squeaked an apology, saying, “I’d call her myself, but I don’t think I’d ever make her understand who I was.” Kat noted that I sounded horrible, and I replied, “Yeah, I sound like I’m half my age.” She then accused me of faking being a child prodigy the entire time. Of course, that would explain why I haven’t grown a beard until the last year. ;)

I guess it’s about time for me to lay back down.
