Most days, my corporate email is quite mundane–useless facts that I don’t need to know, rah-rah activities by the Booster Club that I wouldn’t be caught dead attending, things like that. Today found two things:

1) TBE finally has an online orgchart that’s searchable. Finally, I know where I stand.

2) I’m getting a second office in manufacturing. I’ve actually been kvetching about this for a while to myself. You see, from the conference room where I have all these meetings, it’s literally a fifteen-minute walk back to my desk. Mind you, I actually enjoy the exercise and the downtime, but on a day when things are busy [like, oh, today], I can’t quite afford the downtime. Now I’ll have a second office in our manufacturing area. They’re even putting another computer in there, as well as a phone which will ring simultaneously with the one just to the right of me.

Huzzah. I see myself transitioning to the other office for the next couple of months, realistically.
